Thank you for your interest in Shurdington Pre-School, a community run Early Years child care centre in the village of Shurdington, near Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.
Run by a dedicated team of highly qualified and passionate practitioners, Shurdington Pre-School prides itself on providing a safe, fun and inspiring setting in which every family is welcomed and every child is encouraged to learn and make sense of their world through a rich variety of play based experiences. Meet the Team
Shurdington Pre-School is a ‘pack away’ Pre-school sharing a much used hall with other groups in the community. We also operate as a setting of best practice, working with the Gloucestershire Early Years Team in supporting other settings in the county in their own journey to excellence.
Access to the hall and garden is all on ground level and entrances are wide and secure. We are fortunate to have a large hall and extensive garden space in which we have recently developed TWO ‘outdoor learning gardens’ with funds from the GrassRoots Community Foundation , Grants from GCC and the Echo as well as community fundraising. These two gardens: one for our 2 yr olds in Caterpillers and one for our 3 & 4 yr olds in Butterflies has enabled us to offer FreeFlow for the majority of the childrens time in session and has greatly improved our Enabling Environment. Children will always have the option to play outside: irrespective of the weather.
Shurdington Pre-School Mission Statement

Each unique child and their family will be supported as we encourage all of our children, irrespective of need, to reach their full potential.”
